Rehearsal Details

The Crucible event is now taking shape. The theatres have appointed an MD - Andrew Booth - who will be working with us to prepare for the big night. Tickets have almost sold out, but I have a few on reserve, so please let me know ASAP if you know anyone who would like to attend. Its not too late to get involved - if you can make a rehearsal or two then read on!

We will be involved in two pieces - the start of Act II, and the Finale.

Andy Booth is writing a compilation of hits from the shows for our slot. It will be a combination of solos, duets, small groups and full chorus numbers.

In the finale we will join the West End performers.

Anna Wright and Claire Harriott have offered to help with rehearsals. We'll also have a copy of the music to download for your MP3 players and lyrics very soon.

Rehearsals will be in the CRUCIBLE THEATRE rehearsal room (The Foundry) on:

Monday 16th March 7.30 pm start PROMPT please. Use the Stage Door entrance - there will be a signing in sheet there.

(I have not arranged any other rehearsals until the weekend to give us all time to go away and learn the music, but Andy has offered some one to one slots for those who would like some extra help)

Saturday 21 March 9.30 am - 12.00

Monday 23 March 7.30 pm

Tuesday 24 March 7.30 pm

Wednesday 25 (dress) 6.30 pm

Thursday 26 (performance)

What to wear? Evening dress please - the Crucible team would like bright and colourful for this celebratory event (unless you are a man, and then its boring DJs). Just let us know if that causes any problems and we'll help sort.

Can everyone please visit our "doodle" rehearsal programme page and update your availability. I'll put up the links for the music as soon as I have them from Andy.
