There are lots of versions of Dicken's story. Who wrote this one?
With music by multi Oscar winning composer, Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty & The Beast, Aladdin, Little Mermaid and Tony Award winning stage shows Little Shop of Horrors and Sister Act), lyrics by Tony Award winner Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Anastasia) and originally conceived by Mike Ockrent (Me & My Girl, Crazy For You) this version will send shivers up your spine and make your feet tap in equal measure.
I've noticed lots of Dickens on the TV this year. Why?
Charles Dickens was born on 07 February 1812, and lots of people are celebrating his 200th birthday this year. More details about Dickens can be found here.
